Holiday In Cairo CityStars hosted the National Egyptian Football Team for three nights during their pre-match camp which included strategic playing plan meetings and fitness trainings before their match with Kongo which was the most important match in the qualifiers for the World cup 2010.The Team was on a hectic schedule, from trainings to meetings and coaching whereby they prepared for a very important game. This was the first time for the National Egyptian Football Team to stay at Holiday Inn Cairo CityStars, after winning this match 1 - 0; they believe that the hotel brought them good luck. For 12 days during the Holy month of Ramadan, 96 associates enjoyed the enthusiastic football tournament that the Human Resources Department at the Cairo Marriott Hotel had organized. The Competition between the 12 teams was an aggressive one that was finalized by the winning of the “Banquet” team. The team’s striker, Ulrich Huth, the General Manager of the hotel, managed to win the final match by scoring 3 goals against the opponent team. Congratulations to the winning team!
