From September through to December of each year, our online survey is exclusively conducted to assess and determine the most excellent and deserving accomplishments within various categories. The online survey is a unique insight into the minds of the public audiences.
On the night of January 18th at the breathtaking Dusit Thani Lake View Hotel, located in the fifth settlement of the New Cairo District - marked yet another successful event. The night was all about distinction -- commending the years most eminent and flourishing achievements. It was an inspirational night of jaw dropping beauty and sensational couture where all the guests wrapped up the evening with a new appreciation of one another’s achievements.

As a tradition, the pioneering winners of the industry attended, all eager to receive their awards. DG honored and awarded living legend Adel Emam for his success story as his name continues to be recognized with eminence among renowned prodigies.

The credible work of Mervat Amin, Waheed Hamed and the fabulous Inas Gohar earned them all Career Appreciation awards. Appreciation Award went to the commendable Inas Abdel Dayem. Dear Guest EVENTS

The stunning Lebleba took home a plaque with the title of best comedian actress. While the talented Ahmed Helmy won the exact title in the male category for 2013. The dedicated and unique Gamal Soliman won the Special Acting award. And the oh-so-lovely Ahmed Ezz, and lovable Ghada Adel were praised for their worthiness throughout 2013 with the highest voting, comfortably placing them both in the lead, as cinema’s best male/female actor for this year.

Amr Adib and Lamis Hadidi received special awards for their substantial magnitude within the media through out 2013. The controversial Wael El Ibrashi and Ibrahim Issa both took home an award for their active role in the media.

The remarkable Hassan El Radaad and the attractive Ayten Amer were both named best youth actor/actress for their work throughout 2013.

Adel Hakki’s outstanding talent earned him an award for best music arranger, while pioneering Amir Teama won his award for best poet, along with Walid Saad, winner of the best composer award. Walid Mansour was presented an award for his role in organizing events. The absolutely gorgeous Samira Said was deservedly voted Best singer for 2013, while the esteemed Amr Diab was named best singeras well as Best Album for the year. The extremely dynamic and distinguished, Hany Salama deservedly earned his title for best TV actor, and the best TV actress award went to the impressive leading lady, Mona Zaki. Hanan Madi took home the Best series Song Award for Asia “Hawelt Aeesh”. And Bassem Samra and said Ragab won this years 2013 Performance award. Cinema greats Ahmed Alaa took the best Director award while Ayman Bahgat Amar was presented the Best Script writer award.

Along with the catchy tune “Bahtaglak W Tehtagli ” winning an award for best song of the year. Promising singing sensation Jannat was voted best youth female singer, along with Ramy Sabry as best youth singer. Carmen Soliman was a big winner, she won the award for Best Rising Female Singer and charming Ahmed Gamal was awarded the plaque for best rising male singer. “Teslam El Ayadi” is the winning best single song of the year. Medhat El Adl and Mariam Naoom both took home the award for Best TV Script.

Increasingly popular and enthusiastic Naglaa Badr was awarded best youth actress, and Ahmed Malek took home the same award in the male category in television for 2013. While the gorgeous Donia Samir Ghanem and Macho Ahmed Mekky were named 2013 Television comedians of the year, and Mohamed El Adl was presented with the best TV director award. The best male radio announcer award went to Osama Mounir and beautiful Maha Bahnasy won the same award for the female category. Another big winner was sports director Mohamed Sami in addition to everyone’s favorite - the distinguished sport presenter Ahmed Shobier. Mohamed Youssef won the award for Athletic Person of the year.

Each year the event gets bigger and better, and this year the highly anticipated award night saw the predominance of celebrities who graced the red carpet.
