When I was young, I used to hear my grandmother uttering proverbs and sayings that I could neither understand nor appreciate; even though she always said them in their precise place throughout a conversation. As I grew older I began exploring these ‘words of wisdom’. Truth be told, I became
fascinated with this world, to the extent that I began to write down the sayings I liked in a small book which I called "My Quote Book", whenever I read a book - I took the pieces I was fond of and wrote them down. Nowadays when I read my quote book, I can visibly relate to each piece written - simply because it has affected me. Accordingly, I’ve decided to share with my friends and readers some of my favorite quotes - who does not like to read quotes? Whether humorous, serious, or witty, every word has a different significance towards different people. But what I am sure of - is that we’ve “ALL” learned something;
"If you are not having fun with what you are doing, you are either doing the wrong thing or you are doing the thing wrong" "If you want something so badly set it free, if it comes back to you, it is yours forever, but if it does not, it was not yours to begin with" Indecent Proposal movie "
Happiness is like a butterfly the more you chase it, the more it escapes you. But if you stand very quietly it will come close and set on your shoulder"
"The right to do something does not mean that doing it is right" William Safire
"Unlike lotions, a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks" Proverb
"People would pay any price for what they really wasted" Proverb "Blessings are not valued until they are gone" Proverb "Peace is not a season, but a state of mind" Proverb

Fortune visits every one once" Proverb "Some men see things as they are and say "WHY?" I dream things that never were and say ' WHY NOT?' "George Bernard Shaw What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing…
"If you judge people, you have no time to love them." (Mother Teresa)
"Good judgment comes from experience and experience ... well, that comes from poor judgment."
Every day is a gift, that's why they call it the present."" If nothing was learned, nothing was taught.""
"If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail." (Abraham Maslow)
"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. " (Leonardo Da Vinci)
I can not skip the most touching poem I have heard in the movie "A walk to remember"
Love is always patient and kind, It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, it does not take offence, it is not resentful
