The President’s Award

The Manar Company selected Sheraton Cairo Hotel to host the International Conference for Information Security & Privacy of the Internet Law. The Conference was headed by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Fathy Serour the President of the People ‘s Assembly & the Ministers; their Excellency Dr. Tarek Kamel Minister of Communications, Dr. Ali El Mesilhy Minister of Social Collaboration , Dr. Saied Meshal Minister of Military Production & Dr. Ahmed Darwish Minister of Administrative Development in collaboration with the International Association for banning Crimes in France, Egyptian Association for banning the electronic data processing Crimes & Internet in Egypt as well as the Presidential Prime Ministers. Consequently, Dr. Fathy Serour reclaimed adding international standards for international societies in managing its devices in Electronic censorship and in the end of his speech he emphasized that it should be observed the balance between security consideration & Human Right respect to be equivalent with the winged procedures & the sovereign law. Le Méridien Heliopolis has recently welcomed the famous Lebanese signer Wael Gassar and Spouse, choosing Le Méridien Heliopolis as his muse and inspiration before he begins his new album. The Direct Marketing Association’s Nonprofit Federation (DMANF) announced that Operation Smile is the winner of its 2008 Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award, which annually recognizes an outstanding achievement by a nonprofit organization using direct-response marketing to advance its mission. Operation Smile is a worldwide children’s medical charity that provides free surgery to children in developing countries who were born with facial deformities. Founded in 1982 by Dr. William P. Magee Jr., a plastic surgeon, and his wife, Kathleen S. Magee, a nurse and clinical social worker, the organization is dedicated to providing free surgery to children suffering from facial deformities, while fostering sustainability and capacity building in each developing country where they work.

After a four-year, multimillion pound restoration programme London’s largest five star hotel will re-launch as Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel. The park includes more than 30 slides for adults and kids in addition to the wave swimming pool and lazy river, also available lockers and changing rooms for guests from outside the hotel. As part of Marriott Hotels and Resorts’ mission to serve the community and take part in many community interaction activities, Taba Heights Marriott Red Sea Resort recently participated in the Cairo British School’s Third Book Week. Events took place at the premises of the Cairo British School in Mohandessine whereby the children and their parents shared the fun. During the week the children participated in activities designed to encourage their love of reading. On the final day the children and their teachers dressed up as characters from books and had a parade through the school grounds.

The Egyptian football star
The Egyptian football star of Al-Ahly Club and Egypt's National Team, Mohamed Abu Trieka, is to participate in the "Next Hero" Campaign to be organized and supported by Samsung Electronics. Samsung Electronics has chosen Mohamed Abu Trieka to be the Campaign ambassador for his high and noble moral standards and super football talents that made him a good example for any young football player. Abu Trieka will attend and play the final match of the championship with the talented young players. It is expected that one thousand of young football players from all the youth centers from all over Greater Cairo will participate in the "Next Hero" Campaign. The top ten football players will be selected to travel and be trained at a European football Academy.The Samsung "NextHero" Campaign comes out of its deep-rooted belief in its corporate social responsibility in Egypt. The campaign will be financed by Samsung's product, J700 mobile phone.
