Just an Opinion
I am not one of those people who believe that the various Ministries in the government are doing their utmost performance, but I am also not one of those people who believe that the government is doing badly. There may be defects; however, in the whole world this is the case, where we will always find the good and the bad, regardless where we are.
I certainly don’t totally agree with the latest constitution amendments. Certainly the performance of some ministries is not up to expectation and definitely I believe like many others that there is a lot to be done and that there are several things have to be changed, however there are also positives around us.
It is always good to address both positive & negative issues because I believe that it is important to thank those who perform well and alert those who should exert more effort for better results.
- Mona El Shazly is one of those anchors who force you to watch her because of her simplicity, fair opinion, and extensive knowledge in addition to her lovely smile. She is very humble on air and sometimes struggles to find the correct words which reflect her honesty in every word she utters. At one of “el 3ashera Masa2an” nights she felt sorry for a caller who lost her kid, she couldn’t hold her tears from flowing and of course any one can differentiate between fake and true tears!!! She is not against the government but she is not one of its supporters. As one of the audience you will not be able to figure out her political direction but all what you will be sure of…is that you will always want to watch her on air….
- I would like to ask Dr. Hany Helal, the Egyptian Minister of High Education, if he recently visited the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism in Cairo? Well if he did, he will certainly know where this very important industry is heading to. If he would take the trouble to talk to the students, he will feel that they are not the right candidates for this place. Ten years ago the admission of the students was based on an interview to select the suitable applicant to be part of the tourism industry. However, nowadays there is no selection of the suitable candidates who have the capabilities to serve in such industry which leads to high unemployment. Dr. Hany, if you feel it is important to visit this faculty, please compare the situation to that of eight years ago.
- It is totally unfair that no one is mentioning any thing about the huge positive changes that occurred in both Egypt Post and Telephone public directory “140”. I think that both gentleman Alaa Fahmy and Okail Bashir should be thanked for introducing the changes and driving the improvements to take place
- Hala Shiha, the beautiful young actress who decided to quit acting and has chosen to be in veil, is being bothered by the press who insist to intrude in her private life using provoking titles on the cover pages to boost their sales. Doesn’t she have the full right to choose what she wants? Please respect her privacy.
- I have a very simple question for those independent members of the Egyptian assembly who have chosen not to participate in the constitution amendment vote, in spite of being selected by your voters to express their opinion, worries and help build their future. Why you have been selected then?
- A message for Ahmed Shobeir, You are the founder of the most successful sports program in Egypt, you are the Vice President of the Egyptian Football Federation, you have been selected by the public to represent them in the Egyptian People Assembly, you write in some newspaper, your opinion counts, therefore you are a very successful person and my message to you is…..” the more successful you become…the more careful you should be”, Simply because bad gangs are every where.
- Some of those newspapers, who call themselves “Independent”, are very much provoking. Of course there is no problem in criticizing any one as long as we do have the supporting documents, however those newspaper I am writing about are criticizing every body and do not ever find any positive issues. One of those Independent newspaper strategy and content is to impolitely write about the President and His family. We are not against criticizing articles about Hosny Moubarek and Gamal Moubarak, however when reading an article about very personal issues that won’t benefit the reader in anyway we feel bad. Why should we bother to know about the names of the late mothers of Hosny Moubarek & Anwar El Sadat and what is the goal behind mentioning that on the cover pages? Isn’t this simply bad taste and bad manners?
- Since 2003, every body is criticizing Hazem Emam because of his physical unfitness. Although it has been noted that there was a drop in Hazem’s performance, however his fitness was never up to 100 percent even during his peak performance at the 1988 African cup which Egypt won in Burkina Faso. And that leads me to one conclusion that most of Hazem’s problems are not only related to his physical fitness. To get the best of his performance we urge any coach to call Captain El Gohary !!!! And for those who over criticize Hazem, we would like to ask if they have ever played football?
