When Beauty is Unfair
When we hear the word beauty, the first thing that comes to mind is ones physical appearance, particularly the face. We often overlook one of the most important aspects of an individual which is one’s inner beauty. Inner beauty is to know your strengths and to subsist with them.
Confidence is a natural consequence. But it is also inspiring to see the beauty in life itself. Outer beauty is something one is born with, while inner beauty is a gift to one’s self. We may not be able to actually see inner beauty in a person, but we can definitely feel it.
People with inner beauty always touch people around them… Inner beauty is a part of one’s well-being and lifestyle. It helps you maintain long-lasting relationships like friendship, and deal with daily interactions with people of all levels of life. It is part of each and every individual’s personality.
Therefore, when choosing our life time partner, we have to give it heavier credence than outer beauty. However, one cannot ignore that there must be a fair level of physical attraction between the couple. That’s why contradiction between inner and outer beauty will be everlasting.
Millions of girls and a minority of men stubbornly insist that the opposite sex should get to know them and love them for what’s on the inside, rather than what’s on the outside. True. But we can’t deny that most people are stimulated, and activated by what they see. It’s hard for some people to fully grasp what this means because it’s not our nature to be equally aroused by the images around us.
