FLAG Summit Empowers Students to Shape the Future of Legal Society

At Greek campus on 16th Feb 2024, the inaugural edition of the FLAG Summit proved to be an extraordinary event, targeting students as catalysts for societal change. Recognizing that transforming society begins at the grassroots level, the summit aimed to raise awareness about legal society and job opportunities through an extensive program that included talks, workshops, panels, mentor circles, and CV submitting.

The event featured an impressive lineup of industry professionals from various fields, including judiciary, law firms, and instructors from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Notable speakers shared their expertise and insights, inspiring students to engage with pressing legal topics.

Panel discussions were a highlight of the Summit, covering vital topics such as testing legal careers, women in law, and illuminating the legal profession. Renowned professionals provided valuable insights and engaged in thought-provoking discussions.

The workshop sessions at FLAG Summit offered students the opportunity to enhance their legal acumen and develop essential skills. Workshops included contract drafting, legal research, mooting, legal writing, introduction to intellectual property, CV and LinkedIn profile setup, introduction to arbitration, introduction to mergers and acquisitions, litigation procedures, introduction to corporate lawyering, law and entrepreneurship, and legal translation.

To facilitate personalized guidance and mentorship, FLAG Summit organized mentor circles across various legal domains. Students had the opportunity to interact with experienced professionals in areas such as lawyering, public prosecution, administrative prosecution, Council of State, state lawsuits authority, legal banking, arbitration, HR, customs, academia, legal translation, and international organizations.
