Nasr to sign an agreement with European Commission on women empowerment
Minister of Investments & International Cooperation Sahar Nasr will sign Tuesday an agreement with the European Commission related to ’empowering women’ in fields of economy.
Nasr explained in a statement to reporters that the government intends to empower women through medium-sized projects, in which the private sector will participate, especially in light of procedural legislation that includes financial inclusion of business sector.
The minister stressed that the ministry is seeking to study cooperation across borders with all countries, pointing out that Egypt has an attractive market with enormous potentials.
On the other hand, Nasr revealed the intention of the ministerial economic group to discuss amendments to the “Market Law” on Tuesday.
“The meeting will discuss the laws concerning delayed finance, credit, capital market and financial deeds, in addition to the government’s financial offers that will be presented to Prime Minister Sherif Ismail for approval before sending them to Parliament،” Nasr said.
